Joe Camel is probably the most popular character appearing in cigarette packs, but he is far from being the only one. The Marlboro Man is also very well known from cigarette advertising and is present in many packs, specially sample packs for free distribution. Other less know characters are for example The Camel Man (was Joe Camel on holidays?) and the Virginia Slims Woman.
